Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are For His Glory, a gospel singing group from Sophia, North Carolina. We travel, as we are invited, to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. Each member of our group has been saved by faith in the name of Jesus. He is the only reason that we are privileged to carry the Good News as we go forth in the commission He gave us. Freely we have received; freely we shall give!

The Lord gave the vision to our group in 1998. Originally, the group was started as a local church group. Not long after, God started to open doors with invitations from other churches and organizations. We travel in the vehicle of His calling, ministering "For His Glory."

In 1999, our group transitioned into the  membership, consisting of Floyd "Junebug" Johnson, Jimmy Taylor,  and Tony Fletcher.The remarkable story of what God had planned for  three childhood friends is a testimony to His mercy. God has delivered us and set us free from drugs and alcohol. Now our "blessing" cups are running over.In 2004 Debbie Lineberry joined the group and added what we believe to be what the Lord wanted for this group to be.  The fire  that  burns within our hearts drives us to tell others of the redemptive work of Jesus.
