The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Since everyone has sinned, we all need a savior. God loved mankind so much that He sent His Son Jesus into the world to save people from their sins. By receiving Jesus into our heart, our sins are forgiven and we are given eternal life.

Jesus came into the earth as a human being; He was born of a virgin. He experienced the same emotions, needs, and physical limitations that we do.

He grew up as a man and was tempted to sin, just as each of us is tempted to sin. The difference between Jesus and us is that He did not sin; He always submitted Himself to the Father’s will and was able to live a sinless life in His human body.

Jesus had a miraculous ministry in the earth. He touched the lives of many people who were unaware of the Father’s love. He revealed God’s will to people by properly explaining the Scriptures. Through His powerful ministry, He demonstrated the will of God by healing the sick and delivering those who were in bondage to satan.

The religious leaders of His day became violently jealous of Jesus because of His power and impact. They felt that His popularity and power were a threat to their position of authoirty. These leaders were determined to get Him out of their way, so they plotted and devised a way to convince the government officials to kill Jesus.

He was tired, falsely accused, brutally beaten, and sentenced to die by crucifixion. Jesus died on a cross and was buried in a tomb.

Three days later, Jesus was raised from the dead. For forty days, He presented Himself alive to many eyewitnesses. Afterwards, He promised those who witnessed His ascension that He would return in a similar manner.

Before leaving the earth, He gave this command: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” He assured them that those who believe would receive salvation, but those who refuse to believe would receive eternal judgment.

We have briefly presented the gospel of Jesus to you. If you have not invited Jesus into your heart, it is our desire that you will receive this message and accept Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord.

Romans 1:16 reads "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth ...".The power of God, through His Holy Spirit, is present to save if you believe this message by faith. The word salvation means "to rescue". We all need rescuing from sin in this world.
